Caldworth is being built into the independent advisory firm for AI in investment management. We are assembling the founding team now, and hiring people who can sit across from a CIO and be taken seriously.
This is a founding-stage firm. The early team shapes the methodology, the engagements and the standard itself, rather than inheriting them. The work is advisory, independent and senior: working inside investment firms, helping CIOs, investment committees, research and risk functions understand where AI sits in their process, where it can add edge, and how to govern it. Because we sell no software and hold no vendor relationships, the work stays clean: your job is to be right, not to close a product.
We hire for judgement, fluency in how investment decisions are actually made, and the credibility to advise people more senior than you on questions they cannot yet answer themselves.
The salary ranges below are the cash side of that. Founding team members also help shape how the firm works, and share in how it is built, including its ownership.
Compensation shown is base salary in US dollars, with a performance bonus on top. London roles are paid in pounds at comparable levels.
Our entry point. Support live engagements and research with analysis and modelling, leaning toward the strategy and architecture side of the work.
Lead client engagements end to end, from diagnosing AI exposure to designing the architecture and governance around it.
Own major client relationships, lead the firm's most complex engagements, and shape how Caldworth works.
Help firms find and build their AI edge across data, research and the investment process, and make the build-or-buy calls that deliver it.
Our process is short and serious: an initial conversation, a case discussion drawn from real engagement work, and a meeting with the founding team. We are moving quickly to assemble it, we take references seriously, and we tell you where you stand.
