A senior, client-facing leadership role. Senior Financial Intelligence Architects own major client relationships, lead the firm's most complex engagements, and shape how Caldworth works.
Caldworth is a founding-stage firm, and this is a founding-team role. The salary below is the cash side. Founding members also help shape the firm and share in how it is built, including its ownership.
The role
You will lead engagements at large and complex investment firms, own the senior relationships that come with them, and represent Caldworth with boards and, where needed, regulators. You will also raise the standard of the firm's methodology and develop the people around you.
What you will do
- Lead multi-workstream engagements at large asset managers, hedge funds and wealth firms.
- Own senior client relationships and represent the firm with boards and regulators.
- Set methodology and raise the quality bar across the firm's work.
- Mentor Financial Intelligence Architects and AI Governance Associates.
- Drive the firm's research agenda, including published briefs.
What we look for
- Around ten years or more across investment management, risk or investment technology, including time in a leadership or senior advisory capacity.
- Deep expertise in AI governance, model risk or investment data, with fluency in the relevant regulation.
- A track record of credibility with C-suite and board audiences.
- The judgement to lead engagements where the right answer is not obvious.
CFIA charterholders are strongly preferred. Candidates who do not hold the CFIA may be expected to obtain it within 12 months. The Chartered Financial Intelligence Architect (CFIA), administered by the ICFDT, is the chartered designation for AI in investment management, spanning strategy, data and architecture, alpha and governance. Caldworth uses the CFIA body of knowledge as a professional baseline for advisory work involving AI strategy, data architecture, alpha research, and governance in investment management.
Why Caldworth
This is a role with genuine ownership: of clients, of methodology, and of the firm's reputation. You will help define what an independent standard for AI accountability looks like in practice.
Compensation
$250,000 to $340,000 base, plus a performance bonus. London roles are paid in pounds at comparable levels.
